We are thrilled to announce that Accelerate Her Future was one of 19 social purpose organizations to be selected for round two of the Investment Readiness Program.
On February 18, the Brant | Halton | Peel Partnership, a consortium of six community foundations and Sheridan College which operates EDGE – a hub for impact entrepreneurship – announced the results of its second round of funding from the Investment Readiness Program (IRP), funded by the Government of Canada as part of the national initiative led by Community Foundations of Canada (CFC).
“We are grateful for the opportunity to continue to advance our mission and impact with our values and sustainability at the centre of this work. Doing this work of building a social impact venture is not easy,” explains Dr. Golnaz Golnaraghi, Founder of Accelerate Her Future. “I’m proud to celebrate this great news with the AHF team, our advisory group, our allies and friends, corporate partners, mentors and fellows, coaches and advisors, incubators and community.”

About The Investment Readiness Program
The Investment Readiness Program (IRP) is a national initiative funded by the Government of Canada. IRP provides time-limited investments to support a broad range of social purpose organizations (for example, non-profits, charities, co-operatives, hybrid social enterprises, and mission-focused for-profits) in improving their capacity and ability to participate in the social finance market, access new investment and contract opportunities and support them throughout the innovation.
The goal of the IRP is to support organizations move towards receiving social finance investment, including through the Government of Canada’s Social Finance Fund.
