We are pleased to announce that Accelerate Her Future (AHF) was one of 27 social purpose organizations to be selected for round three of the Investment Readiness Program (IRP) by the Golden Horseshoe Partnership, a consortium of eight community foundations and Sheridan College, with Oakville Community Foundation as the lead partner.
The IRP funding supports the design and development of a new program that we’re very excited about. The AHF team has been busy since April conducting consultations, inclusive design sessions and research and looks forward to sharing more in the coming months.
“The Investment Readiness Program has been instrumental in helping Accelerate Her Future build capacity and remove barriers to participating in the social finance economy. When we received round two IRP funding in 2021, it gave us significant motivation to keep going with our mission and work at the very early stages. To receive round three funding this year is a testament to the impact of our work. Doing social impact work is not easy, especially as we continue to prioritize sustainability while doing things differently and on our own terms. The IRP is essential to our sustainable future. I’m proud to celebrate this great news with the AHF team, our Advisory Group, partners, community, social enterprise coaches and advisors,” shared Dr. Golnaz Golnaraghi, Founder of AHF.
The Investment Readiness Program is designed to enable social purpose organizations to explore, grow, and flourish as they seek innovative solutions to pressing social, cultural, and environmental issues.
The AHF team is deeply grateful for this funding and congratulates all the other recipients.
